Service by Mail

Sharpening service by mail is offered to anyone; especially those who live outside our service area.

If you have an item that is not listed on our order form, or is in very poor condition, please call 704-795-2444 and we can quote you a price.

We strongly urge you to purchase postal insurance when mailing your items. We include postal insurance when returning your items. Please follow postal guidelines for packaging and mailing knives and cutting tools.

We offer some recommendations on packaging below. SHARPER than SHARP is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Please allow 3-5 business days for return shipping.

PACKAGING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Wrap all knives/blades in newspaper, rolling the item carefully in a diagonal manner. Fold the excess newspaper over the tip and secure with tape and/or rubber bands. Place knives/blades in appropriate size box and add additional newspaper or Styrofoam so that the items do not move or shift inside box.

The Sharp Club Membership

	Sharp Club memberships are offered to our residential customers. It is designed to give those who use their knives and other cutting tools on a frequent basis, a way to save even more money; and to keep their knives/cutting tools in top condition.
BI-WEEKLY SERVICE: $30.00 per month We will sharpen up to six knives or cutting tools every other week for a full year. This service includes FREE lawnmower blade sharpening twice a year. That’s a savings of over 50% !
MONTHLY SERVICE: $19.00 per month We will sharpen up to six knives or cutting tools once a month for a full year. This service includes FREE lawnmower blade sharpening once a year. That’s a savings of over 40%! *blade lengths not to exceed 12 inches. Lawnmower blades not to exceed 24 inches; off mower only. Some additional restrictions or charges may apply for certain items depending on their condition. Pricing above reflect items that are in “fair condition” or better. SHARPER than SHARP reserves the right to decline certain items as part of Sharp Club service. Membership is for twelve months. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged for early termination.
